I have always been active and played many sports all throughout childhood and high school. I love to dance! After being married I gained maybe around five pounds then added another 10 after my first child.
After my daughter it took me about 2 years to actually feel good about my body again. Then this past August I had a little boy and gained even more weight. And I admit I have been a slacker. I do good for a couple of weeks and then lose control again and gain most of it back. I love sugar!! I could live on sweets alone.
I know how to work out and what to eat but I get lazy and want to do what is fast or am too busy with the kids or husband.
Plus we all know that summer is coming and my little girl loves to go swimming. I want so badly to look decent in a swimming suit and feel good about myself. I want to buy a cute new bathing suit and feel good in it!
My goal is to lose 15 pounds. I am going to completely cut out sugar Monday through Fridays and try to control myself Saturday and Sunday (it will be hard not to make cookies and eat most of the dough and the cookies right out of the oven).
Also keep my daily calorie intake at 1400 a day. I am also going to work out for at least 40 minutes 4 times a week.
I also signed up to run the Morgan half marathon which should kick my butt into gear when it comes to running.
