Amy’s story
Well, I’m not sure what to say other than I have never been the “tiny” girl, but in high school I always exercised. I gained a lot of weight when I went to college! A lot! With school, work, and a social life working out became non-existent. I lost my love for working out. I gained more weight and exercising became harder and more intimidating.
When I got married I started doing a little better with exercising, but I wasn’t great at it. Then I got pregnant and I gained more weight than I should have. Fortunately I have already lost 30 pounds but I really want to get to my goal weight. I thought this would give me the extra motivation that I need. I am hoping to lose 20 lbs.
My plan is to workout 4-5 times a week. I am also training for a half marathon in May so I will be running quite a bit. I am going to limit treats and sweets to special occasions. And I am going to give up diet coke (my most favorite drink/treat in the whole world).
