Well...I started having to actually watch my weight when I went to college, obviously I wasn't doing all the high school sports and activities. My first year thankfully I had roommates that liked to work out, my second year not so much so I started gaining weight, because I'm kind of tall I think I can hide it pretty good, but I personally was uncomfortable in my skin. Then I met Derek and he is a twig just genetically so we didn't work out together and so I just put ont he newlywed weight and as most know we got pregnant about a month after we got married so it was like I was gaining pregnancy weight and newlywed weight, not a good combo! Anyways after Linnea came Katie introduced the first weightloss challenge and I took it very seriously, I ate super healthy and ran all over the place, I ended up losing about 60 lbs, I made it passed my high school weight! I put on a little weight after I got into my program at school since I really didn't work out too much at all and I got hooked on the pop all over again.
Then little Drew has joined our family and I'm just right back to where I was after Linnea was born. I hate knowing I used to be at a good weight and now I'm not, so I am ready to kick some of my butt off and work hard to get there again. I'm hoping to lose 30 + lbs. I am totally out of my old eating habits so this is going to be a true challenge for me, but bring it on!
